Hi Everyone,
Now the plot of the first book is set and I'm almost finished but there is something missing. I can't quite say but you can help out since I would like a little audience input about fear of spiders and your reaction.
(This is since I'm not afraid of them and I occasionally keep one in my room from time to time as a pet and then let it go outside. You know just to freak out the people in my house who are afraid. And I think they're cute. I have a very broad definition of that word btw)
So if you're afraid of spiders, VERY afraid and say one the size of, the ones in Jumanji, jumps right in front of you, what would be your reaction? You're IMMEDIATE reaction. You don't think at all, first thing you do.
Now you can't faint on the spot, I tried that and it's lack luster, boring, so that's the only thing you can't do. You have a weapon readily available that can easily kill it on the spot.
You're in a large open area to run but it's a cave and there are tunnels.
You're not opposed to swearing but if you've read this book so far they're fictional curse words.
Whether you're in danger or not doesn't matter, you are just deathly afraid of spiders.
The two people with you are not afraid, one in fact loves them, the other knows you too well and only tolerates you and you them. Whether this influences you're reaction or even registers is good to know.
Oh and if you kill it you're going to get into trouble, not life and death but trouble none the less and break the person with you who loves spiders heart, not like you killed their pet or Bambi's mother but still they liked the spider. But if this doesn't matter because a spider the size of a Great Dane just landed in front of you and that's the only thing that can occupy your mind, then so be it.
So with this info let me know!
Thanks for helping!
